Utviklingen av Natur i Norge-systemet (NiN) er et langsiktig prosjekt med mål om å videreutvikle og dokumentere kunnskapen om naturtypevariasjon i Norge. NiN skal kunne brukes til mange formål på tvers av samfunnssektorer, deriblant kartlegging av områder for ulike oppdragsgivere. Utviklingen av NiN ble startet i 2005 av Artsdatabanken, som også finansierer prosjektet.
