Fritz Jensen was a furrier by profession but in his free time he was an active insect collector. For several years until 1917 he has been working half time for the Stavanger Museum. In 1914 he participated in a field trip to Siberia and Altay, and brought back a significant beetle collection. His collection also included specimens collected in Norway. His entire collection is now deposited in our museum.
