Abstract/Ingress
Spatial structure is an important property of vegetation, and high-resolution spatial data are obtainable thanks to modern technology (dGPS etc.). However, it is not always simple and straightforward how such data can be analysed.
I would like to briefly present our study of crowberry (Empetrum nigrum ssp. hermaphroditum) colonisation at an alpine spoil heap, discuss the data and preliminary analyses that have been done, and assess possibilities and alternatives for the final data analysis (together with the audience!).
