Academic interests:

The fungal kingdom comprises a vast diversity of organisms that have key ecological roles in virtually all environments on Earth. As a researcher, I am interested in how to use sequencing data to better understand the fungal kingdom as a whole, including their evolution, physiology and ecology. More specifically, my main research interest is understanding the functional implications of the unusual genomic configurations that are known in many fungal lineages.
