Academic interests

I work with integrative systematics of lichenized Ascomycota at the Lichen Herbarium. The main focus of my phd is the lichen family Psoraceae. I also assist with DNA barcoding of lichens through the OLICH project which is part of the Norwegian Barcode of Life.

Background

I completed my master's degree in ecology and evolution at the University of Oslo, investigating the population genetics of kelp forests in Norway. I have a bachelor's degree in biology from the Colorado College. I have worked as a collections associate at the Ocean Genome Legacy DNA Bank at Northeastern University.
