  • The Climate House is part of the Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo and opened in June 2020.
  • The building was enabled through a gift to the university from Jens Ulltveit-Moe, UMOE.
  • The indoor exhibition and the installations in the Climate Garden outside the building are designed and built by SixSides.
  • The Climate House was built with the lowest environmental impact and greenhouse gas emissions possible. The design was awarded as a FutureBuilt project
  • The Climate House is externally financed by sponsors and collaborative projects. Our partners and contributors are the Municipality of Oslo, Statkraft, Obos, Sparebankstiftelsen DNB, the Ministry of Culture, the University of Oslo's library, Fritt Ord, Stiftelsen Uni, Stiftelsen Flux, the Norwegian Environment Agency, The Research Council and Mr. Iceman.
